At 8 years old, I discovered my mom’s 45 of The Gambler by Kenny Rogers and fell in love with the art of storytelling through songs. A few months later, my mind was blown when Kenny appeared on The Muppet Show. My passion for music grew as I explored artists like Freddie Mercury, Prince, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, and Bill Withers. I eventually chose drums as my main instrument, leading to three decades of professional collaborations and performances.

At 50, after years of battling self-confidence issues, I finally found my own voice. My first release, Run With the Dog, was inspired by the loss of my best friend, and my second song, Song I’m Afraid to Write, reflects the struggle of putting original art into the world.
